God & Country Day

Sunday, October 4, 2009, is "God & Country Day" at Faith Baptist Church. We are encouraging members of all our armed forces and civil services to attend as we honor those who protect and serve our country.

9/6/09 - Winter Campaign

Debt Retirement Update

As of September of 2009 God has graciously allowed us to retire over $92,000 worth of debt. This is a miracle considering the recession and the extensive debt load we are currently under. What a blessing it is to see God work and provide. We have made it a goal to agressively cut costs and give sacrificially in order to retire as much debt as possible. God has also allowed us to cut over $400,000 (about 20%) in spending in the last 24 months. Please continue to pray and give as we STRIVE TOGETHER FOR THE FAITH OF THE GOSPEL.

If you would like to help specifically with one of these projects, please feel free to contact the church office directly or designate the amount on your tithing envelope.

I strongly believe that God is able to provide if we will pray and practice a guiding Biblical principle of giving -- If God will provide it, we will give it. The Bible speaks quite clearly of tithes AND offerings. Tithes being what already belongs to God and offerings being given above our tithes with a joyful and willing heart as God prospers us. Let us faithfully practice Biblical giving.
