Benjamin Franklin in 1789 said "In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes." Death is a certainty for us all. The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
Friend, my question for you is this: Are You 100% sure that if you died today that you would go to Heaven?
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
God has made the way for us to know.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
We are all sinners. The only person ever born perfect was Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:23a For the wages of sin is death...;
Friend, if we choose to pay for our sin ourselves, it will be in eternal Hell.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
God loved us even though we are sinners, so much that He gave his only Son to pay for our sin on the cross.
Romans 6:23b ...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The opposite of a wage is a gift. We earned a wage (Hell) by our sin. But a free gift (eternal life) has given to pay the sin debt we owe.
Romans 10:10 & 13 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Only by putting your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and asking in Him in a simple prayer can you be 100% sure. You may be thinking that this is a simple thing to do. You are right. God wanted it to be as simple as trusting in what Jesus did for us. Jesus died on the cross, three days later arose from a tomb and ascended back to Heaven's throne.
Right Now You Can Be Saved! You Can Pray Something Like This:
Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that you gave your life on the cross to pay for my sin. I believe that you rose from tomb three days later. I am placing my faith in you alone to forgive my sin and save me. Thank you for giving me eternal life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Friend if you have believed and asked Jesus to save you then you now have God's promise of eternal life!
If you have just trusted in Jesus Christ to save you, please let us know. We would like to be a blessing to you.
